6 Council Seats are up for Election, Applications due by October 6, 2026
There are 6 Council seats up for election for the 2027-2028 term, currently held by Jeremiah Owen, Don Laird, Jacki Ayer, Pam Wolter, and 2 vacant seats. Each seat is for a 2-year term.
Those wishing to run for one of these seats must complete the Official Candidate Application Form, which must be received on or before October 6, 2026.

Election Day: November 3, 2026
Instructions to Candidates:
- Each candidate must be a resident and a registered voter in the unincorporated area of Acton as defined by the Acton Town Council Bylaws.
- Applicants will be invited to participate in a Candidates’ Forum. The date, time, and location will be announced at a later date. Candidates are encouraged to participate.
- The filing fee is $50.00 per candidate. Make check or money order payable to Acton Town Council. Cash will not be accepted. The filing fee must be submitted with the application for the candidate to be eligible.
- The completed application and filing fee must be mailed to:
