Acton Town Council Special Meeting Minutes October 25, 2021 Approved

  1. Call to Order, Flag Salute, & Roll Call – The meeting was called to order at 6:02 pm by President Jeremiah Owen.  Followed by the Flag Salute.  Members present – Pam Wolter, Jacki Ayer, Tom Costan, Jeremiah Owen, and Kelly Teno members absent – Troy Pieper.
  2. Measure A Application Discussion – Jacki gave a background on what we have learned about the sports complex and conservation.  We are having the meeting to decide whether or not to support the application.  Mr Rach representing MCRA came to speak about the project.  After much discussion Tom made a motion that oppose the project and to write a letter of opposition to Los Angeles County Regional Park and Open Space District (RPOSD) and MCRA.  Pam 2nd the motion.  The motion carried
