Acton Town Council Special Meeting September 13, 2017 Approved

  1. Roll Call- The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm by Vice President Russ Fawkes. Present at the meeting: Russ Fawkes, Dylan Lunde, Jacki Ayer, and Kelly Teno.  Absent: Tom Costan, Pam Wolter, and Ruth Brock.
  2. LA County Community Climate Action Plan 2020/ Ordinance to amend Title 22-Discussed reasons for asking for the BOS postponement.   Regional Planning has told Acton and the ARTC that there are no new development standards in the ordinance and there are.  They said they did outreach when they did SAFE but they did not.  They are creating vegetative open space under high power lines.  What happens to the easements.  We need more time to study the language.  Jacki Ayer made a motion to write a letter asking the Board of Supervisors to continue this for 8 weeks to give us a chance to review the ordinance and provide pertinent comments.  Dylan Lunde 2nd the motion. The motion carried.
